The snow has melted away but the intriguing pond with its woodline, floating logs and sounds/smells is still worth visiting.   It will be nice when the ground either freezes or dries out so I can get back there again to paint on location.  In the meantime I have been working on this in the studio from sketches and digital images.  The size is 30 x 36".
